& Gerhard Malan are three brothers who share their interest in, and
love of the Genus Clivia. Chris and Gerhard live in Stellenbosch while Charl lives in Grahamstown. Our Clivia collection consists largely of material exchanged with our friend, Mr Yoshikazu Nakamura, of the Clivia breeding plantation in Japan. We have been collaborating for some years now and first started showing at the Cape clivia Club show at Kirstenbosch in September 2001 . |

achievements are:- 1. Best on Show and yellow category winner- Nakamura Vico yellow hybrid. 2. Winner- Most unusual colour category- Nakamura pastel with 2 colours "ghost". 3. 2nd- Most unusual colour category- Bronze green throat 4. Winner broadleaf category 100mm plus leaf width. The seed sold under the Clivia brothers label are the result of work done by Chris and Gerhard with their considerable share of the collection. It has magnificent yellows, top daruma and the very best variegated plants.
