'Justine' was entered by me into the Metro Clivia Show in 2004. The plant had amarylis worm damage to one of the leaves. This was trimmed resulting in the plant not meeting the judging standards. However a note was placed on the plant saying it was the most beautiful flower on the show. The flowers are huge and are painted in the most beautiful colours ranging from light pink to a deeper red. The plant was sold on the show for R 10,000 ( $1,500). The plant is named after my daughter who helps me peel seeds whilst we watch TV!
